‘House of Pain’ Preview
Our recently created Myspace page is Horror-101 the opportunity to get down and dirty with the indie scene. This wondrous creation is giving us a look at some great work that would typically go under the radar. We encourage independent filmmakers and offer them a format to showcase their films in any way that we can. That being said, writer/director/producer Mike West gave us an early look at his first project, House of Pain.

House of Pain follows a group of friends to Niagara Falls, where they visit a fun house that is more than it appears. The story may not be the most original ever written, but it still sounds like it could turn out fun. West wrote and developed the full length script over an eight-month period. Upon completion, he put an advertisement on Craig’s List and found many participants willing to help out on the project.
A fifteen-minute short version of House of Pain is being shot on April 21st and 22nd. West and crew hope that the abbreviated version will muster enough interest to go back and shoot the feature. You can be sure that Horror-101 will have a review when it comes out, so be sure to check back. In the meantime, you can find out more about the film on its Myspace and the Road Rage Films website. Also be sure to check out the teaser.

By the way, it’s our own Alex DiVincenzo who has done such a great job with the new Horror-101 Myspace (clap, clap, clap)
Best of luck to Mike West with ‘House Of Pain’. So far, the poster looks quite good. We hope to hear more about this film in the future.
Jump up, jump up and get down!
Haha the originally title of this was going to be “House of Pain Jumps Around”
