‘Day of the Dead’ DVD Cover

You can see a high-resolution version of the interesting DVD cover art for the remake of Day of the Dead at DVD Active. Sure, the title is poorly designed, the tagline is lame, the stars are unappealing, the mention of George Romero is blasphemous, and the Photoshopping looks unprofessional, but it’s undoubtedly eye-catching. The art makes it look like it might be a fun splatter flick, but unfortunately all other indicators point to this one being an early candidate for worst remake of the year. The film, based on the classic 1985 undead movie, was directed by Steve Miner (Halloween: H20) off a script by Jeffrey Reddick (Final Destination).

    This looks really bad. And the cover art is horribly done.

    That looks like fresh, steaming dog popoo.

    Ving Rhames and Mena Suvari must’ve been hurting for that paycheck.
