Dylan Edrington’s Top 10 Horror Movies of 2006

Dylan Edrington - Showing Off His Serious FaceDylan Edrington is new to the acting game at the young age of 23, but he has the potential to go places in the years to come. You may know him as from 2001 Maniacs. Tim Sullivan’s over-the-top flick has Edrington as Nelson Elliot, one in a group of college students who stumbles upon a remote town in Georgia while traveling on Spring Break. Let’s just say that I bet he’ll never look at milkmaids the same way again. He got the role on his second audition ever. He also appeared in the horror/thriller Shiver. His favorite horror film of all time is The Exorcist. He confessed that he had a hard time thinking of ten good horror movies that came out in 2006 but did manage to do so. He also admits that he is biased in his choosing.

10. The Grudge 2

9. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning

8. The Illusionist

7. The Omen

6. Nightwatch

5. Pan’s Labryinth

2001 Maniacs - Dylan Edrington's Favorite Horror Movie of 2006 4. The Hills Have Eyes

3. Saw III

2. Driftwood

1. 2001 Maniacs

Hehe. Obviously, he’s going to pick 2001 MANIACS. I need to track it down and give it a view. What is DRIFTWOOD? That one must’ve flown under my radar. THE ILLUSIONIST I also need to track down, even though most won’t categorize it as Horror.

Haha, at least he admit that he is biased. He seems to genuinely like the movie though. Driftwood is another film by Tim Sullivan (Manaics director). I haven’t seen it. I hadn’t heard of The Illusionist. Just looked it up though. I’m surprised someone liked The Grudge 2. Guess he had to scramble to make 10.

I missed alot last year, my list will be up sometime this week.

Did anyone see Perfume? I saw a trailer for it that said it was in theaters but no one around here is playing it.

PERFUME’s playing nearby around here in Baltimore. I really should go and catch it; I’m a fan of Tom Twyker (RUN,LOLA,RUN). He’s quite a talented director.
