‘Death Race’ Remake Release Date
Universal Pictures announced that Death Race will hit theaters on September 26th. The remake of 1975’s Death Race 2000 is directed by Paul W.S. Anderson (Resident Evil, Alien vs. Predator) off a script by J.F. Lawton (DOA: Dead or Alive). While Anderson isn’t exactly an acclaimed filmmaker (aside from his great work with Event Horizon), this seems like a pretty hard story to screw up, especially considering how outdated the original is.
